the information you provide is accurate and not misleading;

where you act on behalf of an Organisation, you have authority to represent that Organisation.
You must not use the Services where doing so is prohibited by applicable law.
Pozi does not intentionally target children.
Where a particular Service is subject to additional age requirements, those requirements will apply to that Service.
4. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION
Certain Services require an account.
When creating an account, you must provide accurate and current information.
You are responsible for:
maintaining the accuracy of your account information;
maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials;
preventing unauthorised access to your account;
notifying Pozi promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
You may not:
impersonate another person;
create an account using another person's identity without authorisation;
create accounts for fraudulent purposes;
create accounts for the purpose of circumventing a suspension or restriction.
Pozi may require additional information where reasonably necessary to maintain platform security, comply with law or provide a particular Service.
5. THE POZI SERVICES
Pozi provides technology and infrastructure that enables Users and Organisations to discover, publish, organise and participate in professional activities and connections.
The specific functionality available to you may depend on:
your account;
your role;
the event or community you participate in;
the Organisation providing or sponsoring a Service;
your subscription;
your location;
the applicable product configuration.
Pozi may introduce new functionality, modify existing functionality or discontinue functionality.
Where a material change substantially negatively affects a paid Service, applicable contractual or mandatory consumer rights will continue to apply.
6. USER PROFILES
Users may create professional profiles containing information such as:
name;
professional role;
company or organisation;
professional interests;
skills;
areas of expertise;
professional background;
networking preferences;
biography;
profile image;
other information voluntarily provided by the User.
Users are responsible for ensuring that information included in their profile is accurate and does not infringe the rights of others.
Certain profile information may be visible to other Users or Participants depending on the configuration of the relevant Service.
Users should only publish information that they are comfortable sharing with the relevant audience.
7. EVENTS
Pozi may provide functionality allowing Organisers to create, publish, manage and promote events.
Events may be organised by Pozi or by third-party Organisers.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Pozi is not the organiser of third-party events.
The Organiser is responsible for:
the accuracy of event information;
event content;
event scheduling;
venue information;
participation requirements;
tickets and admission;
event fees;
cancellations;
refunds;
event-specific rules;
compliance with applicable law;
the safety and conduct of participants to the extent legally applicable.
Pozi does not guarantee that an event will take place, that an event will meet a particular standard, or that a User will obtain a particular outcome from attending an event.
Where an event is organised by a third party, Users should review the Organiser's terms and policies where applicable.
8. COMMUNITIES
Pozi may allow Organisations or Users to create and operate communities.
Community administrators may establish additional rules applicable to members of that community.
Where community rules conflict with these Terms, these Terms will generally prevail with respect to the operation of the Pozi platform, while the community rules may govern matters specific to participation in that community.
Community administrators are responsible for content and activities that they control, subject to applicable law and their contractual relationship with Pozi.
9. NETWORKING AND CONNECTIONS
Pozi may provide tools designed to facilitate professional networking and connections.
These may include:
connection requests;
participant discovery;
suggested connections;
recommendations;
introductions;
messaging;
professional interest matching.
Pozi does not guarantee that:
a particular person will respond to a connection request;
a particular introduction will occur;
a recommended person will be relevant to you;
a connection will lead to employment, investment, partnership, funding, sales or another business outcome.
Users are responsible for independently evaluating any person, organisation, opportunity or information discovered through the Services.
10. AI MATCHING AND RECOMMENDATION FEATURES
Pozi may use automated systems and artificial intelligence to provide matching and recommendation functionality.
These features may recommend:
people;
events;
communities;
opportunities;
content;
organisations;
professional connections.
Recommendations may be based on factors including:
profile information;
professional interests;
skills and expertise;
professional background;
company or organisation;
networking preferences;
event participation;
community participation;
interactions with the Services;
other relevance signals generated through use of the Services.
The purpose of these systems is to improve relevance and facilitate professional networking.
AI-generated recommendations are not professional advice and must not be treated as:
investment advice;
financial advice;
legal advice;
employment advice;
recruitment decisions;
business guarantees;
due diligence;
professional recommendations.
Users remain responsible for evaluating information and making their own decisions.
Pozi does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or suitability of any AI-generated recommendation.
Pozi does not intend its matching system to make decisions producing legal effects or similarly significant effects concerning Users solely by automated means.
Where required by applicable law, Pozi will provide appropriate information and safeguards relating to automated decision-making and profiling.
11. RECOMMENDER SYSTEM TRANSPARENCY
Where the Services constitute an online platform subject to applicable recommender-system requirements, Pozi will provide transparent information about the principal parameters used to determine recommendations.
The principal relevance factors may include:
professional interests;
skills;
expertise;
profile information;
networking preferences;
event participation;
community participation;
stated preferences;
interactions with the Services;
relevance and compatibility signals.
The relative importance of these factors may vary depending on the particular recommendation.
Pozi may also use technical, contextual and service-specific relevance signals to improve the quality of recommendations.
Where applicable law requires Users to be provided with functionality to influence or modify recommendation parameters, Pozi will provide such functionality through the relevant platform interface.
Where Pozi provides multiple ranking or recommendation options that are subject to such legal requirements, the available options will be presented in accordance with applicable law.
12. USER CONTENT
Users retain ownership of the intellectual property rights they hold in their User Content.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of a User's intellectual property to Pozi merely because the User uploads or publishes Content through the Services.
By submitting User Content to Pozi, you grant Pozi a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, process, display, transmit and otherwise use that User Content only to the extent reasonably necessary to:
provide the Services;
operate the platform;
display the Content to the intended audience;
facilitate networking;
facilitate events and communities;
maintain and secure the Services;
improve the Services;
develop platform functionality;
comply with legal obligations.
Where you choose to publish Content publicly or to a defined group of Users, the licence includes the right to make that Content available to the relevant audience.
You may withdraw or delete User Content through available platform functionality, subject to:
technical limitations;
legal retention requirements;
legitimate records that Pozi is required to retain;
Content already lawfully shared by other Users;
contractual obligations relating to a particular Service.
Pozi does not acquire ownership of:
startup ideas;
business concepts;
inventions;
research;
designs;
know-how;
professional materials;
other intellectual property
merely because such information is uploaded to the Services.
13. CONTENT RESPONSIBILITY
You are responsible for User Content that you submit or publish through the Services.
You represent and warrant that, to the best of your knowledge:
you have the necessary rights to submit the Content;
your Content does not unlawfully infringe third-party rights;
your Content is not intentionally misleading;
your Content does not violate applicable law;
you have obtained any necessary permission to provide personal data relating to another person.
Pozi does not routinely verify the accuracy or ownership of all User Content.
Users should independently evaluate information provided by other Users.
14. CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION
Pozi does not automatically treat all Content uploaded to the platform as confidential.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing:
Users should not upload confidential information, trade secrets or other sensitive business information to areas of the Services where such information may be visible to other Users or third parties.
Users are responsible for determining whether information is appropriate for publication through the Services.
Pozi does not acquire ownership of confidential information or trade secrets merely because such information is uploaded.
Where Pozi receives confidential information directly from a Customer under a separate written agreement containing confidentiality obligations, the terms of that agreement will apply.
15. PROHIBITED CONTENT AND CONDUCT
You may not use the Services to:
violate applicable law;
commit fraud;

artificially manipulate engagement or platform rankings;
use automated systems to access the Services without Pozi's permission;
reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except where permitted by mandatory law;
use the Services to compete with Pozi through unauthorised copying or systematic extraction of platform functionality or data;
interfere with another User's use of the Services.
Pozi may take action against conduct that materially threatens the security, integrity or legitimate operation of the platform.
16. CONTENT MODERATION
Pozi may review, restrict, disable or remove Content where reasonably necessary to:
comply with applicable law;
comply with these Terms;
protect Users;
protect third parties;
protect Pozi;
address security risks;
address fraud or abuse;
maintain the integrity of the Services.
Depending on the circumstances, Pozi may:
remove Content;
restrict its visibility;
disable access;
suspend an account;
terminate an account;
restrict particular functionality.
Where applicable law requires Pozi to provide reasons for a restriction, Pozi will provide the relevant information.
Where applicable law provides Users with a complaint, review or appeal mechanism concerning content moderation, Pozi will provide that mechanism in accordance with the applicable requirements.
17. THIRD-PARTY CONTENT AND SERVICES
The Services may contain information, links, Content or services provided by third parties.
Pozi does not guarantee the accuracy, legality, availability or quality of third-party Content or services.
Third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
Pozi is not responsible for third-party services except to the extent required by applicable law.
18. POZI INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Services and Pozi Content are owned by or licensed to Pozi and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
This includes, where applicable:
Pozi trademarks;
logos;
software;
source code;
databases;
platform architecture;
interfaces;
designs;
graphics;
text;
documentation;
visual elements;
proprietary algorithms;
platform functionality.
Except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law, Users may not:
copy;
reproduce;
distribute;
modify;
publicly display;
commercially exploit;
reverse engineer;
create derivative works from
Pozi Content or the underlying platform.
Nothing in these Terms grants a User ownership of Pozi intellectual property.
19. FEEDBACK
If you voluntarily provide feedback, suggestions or recommendations regarding the Services, Pozi may use such feedback without restriction and without compensation, provided that such use does not involve the unauthorised use of your confidential information or intellectual property.
Feedback does not transfer ownership of unrelated User Content or intellectual property.
20. FREE SERVICES
Certain Pozi Services may be provided free of charge.
Pozi may introduce paid functionality or paid tiers in the future.
Where a free Service is converted into a paid Service, Users will receive the information required by applicable law before charges apply to them.
Nothing in this section limits mandatory consumer rights.
21. PAID SERVICES
Certain Services may be subject to fees.
Paid Services may include, for example:
event management functionality;
community management;
enterprise functionality;
analytics;
premium networking functionality;
AI-supported functionality;
institutional services;
other business services.
The applicable fees, billing period, payment terms and service scope may be specified in:
an order form;
subscription agreement;
commercial agreement;
pricing page;
or other contractual documentation.
Where a Customer purchases a paid Service under a separate written agreement, that agreement will govern the commercial terms applicable to the Customer.
22. FEES AND TAXES
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
fees are exclusive of applicable taxes;
Customers are responsible for applicable VAT and other taxes;
invoices are payable according to the applicable payment terms;
payment obligations are non-cancellable except where applicable law or the applicable agreement provides otherwise.
Pozi may suspend paid Services for material non-payment after providing reasonable notice, except where immediate suspension is reasonably necessary to protect the Services or comply with law.
23. PRICE CHANGES
Pozi may change pricing for future subscription periods.
Where required by applicable law or contractual terms, Pozi will provide advance notice of material price increases and the Customer may have the right to terminate the affected subscription.
Existing prepaid periods will not be retroactively repriced unless otherwise expressly agreed or required by law.
24. SERVICE AVAILABILITY
Pozi aims to provide reliable and secure Services but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Services may occasionally be unavailable due to:
scheduled maintenance;
emergency maintenance;
security incidents;
infrastructure failures;
third-party service failures;
telecommunications failures;
force majeure events;
circumstances beyond Pozi's reasonable control.
Pozi may temporarily suspend functionality where reasonably necessary to protect Users, data, systems or the platform.
25. MAINTENANCE AND UPDATES
Pozi may update, modify or improve the Services from time to time.
Updates may include:
security updates;
bug fixes;
performance improvements;
feature changes;
user-interface changes;
technical infrastructure changes.
Pozi may discontinue individual features where reasonably necessary for technical, commercial, legal or security reasons.
Where mandatory law provides Users or Customers with specific rights regarding material changes to paid digital services, those rights remain unaffected.
26. PRIVACY AND PERSONAL DATA
Pozi's processing of personal data is governed by the Pozi Privacy Policy, which forms a separate document and is available through the Pozi website and platform.
The Privacy Policy explains:
what personal data Pozi processes;
why it processes personal data;
the legal bases for processing;
retention periods;
third-party processors;
international transfers;
user rights;
AI and profiling-related processing.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights granted to individuals by applicable data protection law.
Privacy Policy: [Pozi Privacy Policy]
27. DATA PROCESSING FOR BUSINESS CUSTOMERS
Where a Customer uses Pozi as a service provider and determines the purposes and means of processing personal data, the Customer may act as a data controller and Pozi may act as a data processor.
Where required, the parties will enter into an appropriate Data Processing Agreement.
The Data Processing Agreement will govern processor-specific obligations where applicable.
If there is a conflict between these Terms and a valid Data Processing Agreement regarding data protection matters, the Data Processing Agreement will prevail to the extent of the conflict.
28. EVENT AND COMMUNITY DATA
Where an Event Organiser or Community Administrator determines the purposes and means of processing Participant data, that organisation may act as a separate data controller.
Users may therefore receive additional privacy information from an Organiser or other organisation.
Pozi may process Participant data:
to provide the relevant Service;
on behalf of an Organiser;
as an independent controller where described in the Privacy Policy;
as otherwise required or permitted by applicable law.
29. NO INVESTMENT, LEGAL, FINANCIAL OR PROFESSIONAL ADVICE
Pozi may provide access to information, profiles, events, people, organisations, opportunities and AI-generated recommendations relating to professional and business activities.
Nothing provided through the Services constitutes:
investment advice;
financial advice;
legal advice;
tax advice;
employment advice;
recruitment advice;
professional due diligence;
a recommendation to invest in a particular company;
a guarantee of business performance.
Users are solely responsible for obtaining appropriate professional advice and conducting their own due diligence.
Pozi does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of information supplied by Users, Organisers, Customers or other third parties.
30. NO GUARANTEE OF BUSINESS OUTCOMES
Pozi does not guarantee that use of the Services will result in:
investment;
funding;
employment;
recruitment;
partnerships;
sales;
customers;
introductions;
successful networking;
event attendance;
commercial transactions;
business growth.
Any such outcome depends on circumstances outside Pozi's reasonable control.
31. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided on an "as available" and, where legally permissible, "as is" basis.
Pozi does not warrant that:
the Services will always be available;
the Services will be uninterrupted;
the Services will be error-free;
all information will be accurate or complete;
all Content will be lawful or accurate;
recommendations will always be relevant;
AI-generated results will be accurate;
the Services will meet every User's particular requirements.
Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory statutory rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.
32. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Pozi will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of:
profits;
revenue;
business opportunities;
goodwill;
anticipated savings;
business relationships;
arising from or relating to use of the Services.
Pozi will not be liable for losses caused by:
third-party Content;
actions of other Users;
actions of Event Organisers;
third-party services;
telecommunications failures;
force majeure events;
unauthorised use of an account caused by the User's failure to protect credentials;
decisions made by a User based on information or recommendations available through the Services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or other liability that applicable law requires to remain applicable.
Where legally permissible and unless a separate agreement provides otherwise, Pozi's aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with a User's use of the free Services will not exceed the greater of:
(a) EUR 100; or (b) the amount actually paid by the relevant User to Pozi for the Services during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
For paid Customers, a separate commercial agreement may provide a different liability regime.
Nothing in this section limits mandatory consumer rights.
33. INDEMNIFICATION
To the extent permitted by applicable law, a User or Customer may be responsible for losses, claims, liabilities and reasonable costs incurred by Pozi arising from:
their material breach of these Terms;
unlawful use of the Services;
infringement of third-party intellectual property rights through User Content;
fraudulent or abusive conduct;
unauthorised use of the Services.
This section does not apply to the extent that the relevant claim results from Pozi's own unlawful conduct or negligence.
Where the User is a consumer, this provision applies only to the extent permitted by mandatory consumer protection law.
34. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION
Pozi may temporarily suspend an account where reasonably necessary to:
protect platform security;
investigate suspected fraud or abuse;
investigate a material breach of these Terms;
comply with law;
prevent harm to Users or third parties.
Where reasonably possible and legally permitted, Pozi will provide information regarding the reason for suspension.
Where applicable law provides a right to challenge or appeal a restriction, Pozi will provide the relevant mechanism.
35. ACCOUNT TERMINATION BY THE USER
Users may stop using the Services at any time.
Where account deletion functionality is available, Users may request deletion of their account through the relevant functionality.
Deletion may not immediately remove all information where Pozi is legally required or otherwise permitted to retain certain records.
Termination does not affect rights and obligations that accrued before termination.
36. TERMINATION BY POZI
Pozi may terminate an account or discontinue access to the Services where:
the User materially breaches these Terms;
the User engages in unlawful activity;
the User creates a material security risk;
the User engages in fraud or abuse;
continued access would violate applicable law;
the relevant Service is discontinued;
the User repeatedly violates platform rules;
payment obligations are materially overdue, where applicable.
Where appropriate and legally permitted, Pozi will provide reasonable notice or an explanation.
Immediate termination or suspension may be permitted where reasonably necessary to protect Users, third parties, the platform or Pozi's legal interests.
37. EFFECT OF TERMINATION
Following termination:
access to the relevant account may cease;
access to certain User Content may no longer be available;
licences necessary solely to provide the Services may end;
provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain effective.
Surviving provisions include, where applicable:
intellectual property;
confidentiality;
liability;
indemnification;
dispute resolution;
applicable payment obligations;
other provisions intended to survive termination.
38. THIRD-PARTY LINKS
The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services.
Pozi does not control and is not responsible for third-party websites, applications, products or services.
Your use of third-party services is governed by the applicable third party's terms and privacy policies.
39. SECURITY
Users must not attempt to compromise the security of the Services.
Prohibited activities include:
unauthorised access;
penetration testing without permission;
vulnerability exploitation;
distribution of malware;
denial-of-service attacks;
credential theft;
bypassing authentication;
unauthorised data extraction.
If you discover a security vulnerability affecting the Services, please report it responsibly to:
hello@pozi.io
40. MODIFICATION OF THESE TERMS
Pozi may update these Terms from time to time.
Changes may be made to reflect:
changes to the Services;
new functionality;
changes in technology;
legal or regulatory developments;
security requirements;
changes to commercial arrangements.
The updated Terms will be published through the relevant Pozi website or platform.
For material changes affecting existing Users, Pozi will provide reasonable notice where required by applicable law.
Where continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance under applicable law, the updated Terms will apply from that date.
Where affirmative acceptance is legally required, Pozi will obtain such acceptance.
For consumers, Pozi will not rely on unilateral changes in circumstances where mandatory consumer law requires a different procedure.
41. ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS
You agree that Pozi may communicate with you electronically in relation to:
your account;
the Services;
security;
transactions;
important changes;
legal notices;
event participation;
customer support.
Electronic communication may be sent through:
e-mail;
platform notifications;
account notifications;
other electronic means made available through the Services.
Marketing communications are governed by applicable consent and marketing requirements and the Pozi Privacy Policy.
42. NOTICES
Legal notices to Pozi should be sent to:
Pozi Network Zrt. 1053 Budapest, Ferenciek tere 2. fszt. ép. Hungary
E-mail: hello@pozi.io
Where a particular contractual agreement provides a different notice procedure, that procedure will apply.
43. ASSIGNMENT
Pozi may assign or transfer its rights and obligations under these Terms:
to an affiliate;
in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring or sale of substantially all relevant assets;
where otherwise permitted by law.
Users may not assign their rights or obligations under these Terms without Pozi's prior written consent, except where mandatory law permits otherwise.
44. NO WAIVER
Failure by Pozi to enforce a provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of the right to enforce that provision later.
45. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, where legally permissible.
The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
46. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms, together with documents expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the agreement between you and Pozi concerning the relevant Services.
For Customers, a separately executed commercial agreement, order form or subscription agreement may contain additional terms.
Where such a written agreement expressly conflicts with these Terms, the written agreement will prevail with respect to the relevant Customer Service.
47. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary, without prejudice to mandatory provisions of applicable law that cannot be excluded by agreement.
Where the User is a consumer residing in another jurisdiction, nothing in these Terms deprives the User of mandatory protections available under the laws applicable to that consumer.
48. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Pozi encourages Users and Customers to contact Pozi first to attempt to resolve any dispute amicably.
For non-consumer disputes, the competent courts of Hungary shall have jurisdiction, unless the parties have agreed otherwise in a separate written agreement.
For consumers, jurisdiction and applicable procedural rights shall be determined in accordance with mandatory applicable consumer protection law.
Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from exercising mandatory rights to bring proceedings before the competent courts of their place of residence where such rights apply.
49. CONSUMER RIGHTS
Where a User qualifies as a consumer under applicable law, mandatory consumer protection legislation applies in addition to these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to:
exclude mandatory consumer rights;
restrict statutory remedies;
exclude mandatory conformity rights;
unlawfully limit statutory cancellation or termination rights;
prevent access to competent courts or dispute-resolution mechanisms.
For digital services supplied to consumers, mandatory statutory rights concerning conformity, supply, modification and termination remain applicable.
EU rules on digital content and digital services provide consumers with remedies in cases of non-supply or lack of conformity, including, where applicable, bringing the service into conformity, price reduction or termination.
50. DIGITAL SERVICES ACT
Where the Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065) applies to a particular Pozi Service, Pozi will comply with the obligations applicable to its role and category of service.
This may include, where applicable:
information concerning content restrictions;
mechanisms for reporting potentially illegal content;
explanations for content restrictions;
complaint and appeal mechanisms;
transparency regarding recommender systems;
other obligations applicable to intermediary services or online platforms.
The fact that Pozi provides functionality for User Content, events, communities or recommendations does not by itself determine the legal classification of every Pozi Service.
Pozi will assess its obligations based on the actual functionality, scale and legal classification of the relevant Service.
51. RECOMMENDER SYSTEMS AND USER CONTROL
Where the Digital Services Act or other applicable law requires additional recommender-system transparency, Pozi will provide information concerning the principal parameters used by its recommendation systems.
Depending on the Service, these may include:
profile characteristics;
professional interests;
skills;
expertise;
networking preferences;
event participation;
community participation;
previous interactions;
contextual relevance;
compatibility signals.
Pozi may allow Users to influence recommendation results by:
updating profile information;
updating networking preferences;
changing relevant account settings;
changing available recommendation preferences.
Where applicable law requires additional controls, Pozi will make those controls available through the relevant interface.
52. FORCE MAJEURE
Pozi will not be responsible for failure or delay in performing obligations caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including:
natural disasters;
war;
terrorism;
governmental action;
widespread infrastructure failures;
telecommunications failures;
internet outages;
cyberattacks beyond reasonable protective measures;
failures of third-party infrastructure;
other events that could not reasonably have been prevented or overcome.
This provision does not limit mandatory legal rights.
53. LANGUAGE
These Terms are drafted in English.
Where Pozi provides a Hungarian or other language version, the relevant version may be provided for convenience or where required by law.
For consumer contracts, applicable mandatory language requirements will apply.
