Who are we? 

The Women Startup Competition is an annual startup competition in Europe. It is designed to provide an opportunity for women entrepreneurs and their team members to meet investors and get support and advice to achieve their business goals. The competition aims to increase the currently very low proportion of women in business.

The Women Startup Competition was born in 2012 in Budapest, Hungary. Since then, the movement has continued to flourish and grow, attracting creative female entrepreneurs and accelerating them to get up to speed on the business superhighway. The community and network have been growing steadily since the beginning, and we are expanding geographically. WSC is present in 12 European countries, offering training series and competitions.

The Women Startup Competition aims to increase the presence of women in business, and to this end, we are providing training and opportunities for more and more gender-diverse startups to realize their dreams and encourage them to do what they love.

Through our competition series, we are increasing the number of innovative businesses with a majority of female founders. We want to develop women entrepreneurs' skills, encourage and support them, and connect them with leading corporate innovation hubs, venture capitalists, angel investors, and other potential attractive partners.
