Within the EIT Food EWA Programme we, the POZI.io team continue to work on supporting female entrepreneurs in Hungary. We are announcing the second Masterclass event, which follows the first Masterclass and the Matchmaking events.

We aim to empower women in agrifood through the second Masterclass event. Based on the experiences that we had during the previous months’ mentoring sessions, we give the participants another learning and skill improvement opportunity.

The program will be colorful, and the mentees will have the chance for listening to agrifood experts in a roundtable, and have rapid mentoring, after that the program will continue with another event, where they can participate in the Agtech Summit conference on the future of agriculture, organized by the NAK TechLab.

The Agtech Summit is dedicated specifically to agricultural digital transformation and will feature presentations and hands-on demonstrations by nationally and internationally recognized experts, the most important Hungarian agri-tech start-ups, and the most influential market players. The day will finish with the closing ceremony and networking event of the NAK TechLab 2022 incubator program. Participation is free but requires registration. Here is the registration link.

We believe that this second Masterclass event gives the chance mentees and provides them the opportunity to develop and to enhance strengthening the necessary skills to gain, maintain, and advance in the agrifood area, like networking, building new business relationships, elevator pitching, presenting their business idea to unfamiliar people, asking feedback and receiving advice from agrifood experts, getting new impression and perspectives about the actual situation of the agrifood sector at national and international level also.

Schedule of the event:

09:00 - 09:10 Welcome and Registration: Registration, welcome coffee or tea - Welcoming of the audience, mentors, teams, Pozi.io, and EIT Food.

09:10 - 09:15 Introduction, and Instructions: Tamás Müller will present the Agenda to the mentees and gives instructions to them.

09:15 - 09:45 Round-table: Round-table discussion with agrifood experts, the participants will have the chance to ask questions.

09:45 - 10:15 Coffee Break: Coffe-break, brunch time (there will be sandwiches and fruits), refreshment time.

10:15 - 11:05 Fast mentoring: The mentees will practice elevator pitching their business ideas in 5-5 minutes (1-minute pitch, 2 feedback, 1 minute repeating the elevator pitch based on the feedback, 1 minute for switching).

11:05 - 11:15 Closing of the first part of the program: The participants will be guided on how to move forward in the other venue (same building, different room), where they can optionally participate in the Agtech Summit by the Nak Techlab.

11:30 - 22:00 Agtech Summit by the NAK TECH LAB: Optional participation opportunity at the conference, networking, and Demo Day programs during the event.
