Polkadot Championship 2023
The hackathon, led by David Pethes, Head Ambassador of Eastern Europe, and his Crypto CTF OU team, aims to improve upon last year's successful event. They're addressing past hackathon issues with innovative ideas for better event dynamics, entry requirements, judging, and team matchmaking.
Hackathons are vital for promoting innovation and advancing the Polkadot ecosystem. The ultimate goal is to set their hackathon apart by offering a superior model, as successfully tested in the previous year.
What we are focusing on:
Developer Engagement: We aim to attract more developers to the ecosystem by highlighting the potential of Polkadot and Substrate technologies, providing them with the tools and knowledge they need.
Enhanced Hackathon Experience: To make hackathons more impactful, we'll introduce innovative changes, focusing on education, practical project development, and creating a sustainable developer community.
Community Engagement: We'll engage the development community with challenges, podcasts, and post-event content to maintain an active and growing community.
